My story through art

And asks others also to tell their story throught 5 to 7 pieces of art on dA too.

She wonders if you ever thought about what your favorite works say about you. And I must admit I never thought about it so far

First of all I love freedom and adventure and an open mind. My favorite saying is: By all means let's be open-minded, but not so open-minded that our brains drop (Richard Dawkins)

Art in every way. Art feeds my soul, I cannot imagine to live without art. I used to oilpaint, but when my teacher died (the great artist Jan van Merwijk) and I got married and had kids I had not time or place for it. Later I was so lucky to discover digital art, what takes almost no space and gives no mess But I still miss the smell of paint and the first stroke on a white canvas. Mayby some day I have the courage to start again.

This work has the style that I love the most.

This is a great piece, I cannot imagine its not a DD.

Imagination, I always have so many ideas popping up in my head that I can hardly keep up. Every day things turn into great ideas. Its a pitty that sometimes I don't have the skills to make my art as it is in my imagination. But I believe someday I will and till then I just keep on trying

Humor is so important to me. Luckely my husband has the same humor, not always understood by other people though lol.

In this picture I combine humor with my love of pigs, especially the mini ones (kune kune pigs)

Love what the artist is saying about this work: (Because honestly... pigs cannot fly) I find that humor.

I really hate the cold winters here and I always want to move south. And I know I will someday.

I love the sheer determination on the face of the woman, love this work. 

And mayby its about escaping from the real life that isn't always fun.

So I hope that you know me a little better now.

I am a fun, sensitive, beautiful on the inside (outside is gone), cranky, curious woman.
